Job description

We are now recruiting for a Housing Support Worker based in the Wirral. This role offers competitive hourly rates ranging from £16.00 to £18.50 an hour. This is a temp position with full-time working hours (37.5 hours) from Monday to Friday.


Your new role

  • Manage housing tasks including rent arrears, tenancy breaches, and health & safety checks to ensure smooth tenancy operations.
  • Carry out property inspections and coordinate access for repairs to keep homes well maintained.
  • Work closely with tenants and support partners to provide personalised tenancy support.
  • Respond promptly to safeguarding concerns and anti-social behaviour incidents.
  • Support Housing Benefit processes and liaise with finance as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance and effective service delivery.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in a similar housing/tenancy support role.
  • Good knowledge of housing legislation.
  • Full driving licence and valid business insurance.
  • Basic DBS required.
