Job summary

A community support organization in Belfast is looking for a Housing Support Worker to provide housing-related support services to individuals with disabilities. Candidates should have an RQF level 2 qualification and at least one year of experience in support services. Good communication skills and IT proficiency are essential for developing the capacity of clients to live independently. This position is part-time, with a salary of £27,649 per annum, pro rata.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 years’ paid and/or voluntary experience of providing support services to people with disabilities and/or other vulnerable individuals.

Responsibilities

  • Providing housing Support Service to people who have a Physical Disability/Physical Health Issue, Brain Injury, or Sensory Impairment.

Skills

Good communication & interpersonal skills
Proficiency in IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
Knowledge of the effects of disability

Education

Responsibilities
  • Providing housing Support Service to people who have a Physical Disability/Physical Health Issue, Brain Injury, or Sensory Impairment Visual and/or Hearing Loss who require housing related support to develop their capacity to live independantly
Skills and Qualifications
  • RQF level 2 Qualification, or equivalent (QCF, NVQ etc.)
  • Minimum of 1 years’ paid and/or voluntary experience of providing support services to people with disabilities and/or other vulnerable individuals
  • Knowledge of the effects of disability and/or other vulnerable groups
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in IT skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
