We are actively seeking experienced Housing Support Workers to work within a service in Caerphilly. The service supports individuals with learning and mobility difficulties, assisting with personal care, medication administration, food preparation, and community access.

Overview:

• Title: Housing Support Worker
• Location: Bedwas, Caerphilly
• Job Type: Temporary
• Shifts: 12 hours, days and nights
• Pay: £13.38 p/h (inclusive of holidays)
• Excellent pay rates, weekly pay, and no payroll charges

The Role:

As a Housing Support Worker, you will provide therapeutic care and support to individuals with autistic spectrum conditions and complex needs. Your duties include observing, monitoring, and recording patient conditions, and treating each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty. You will assist in their progression towards independent living, with support from a multidisciplinary team.

The Candidate:

To be successful as a Housing Support Worker, you should:

• Have a desire to create positive outcomes for adults with learning disabilities
• Be empathetic, caring, and resilient
• Have at least 6 months of experience in a social care setting
• Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
• Have the right to work in the UK
