Housing Support Team Leader
Bethnal Green

40 Hours
£17.88 LTD / £15.24 PAYE (inc hol)

A Housing Association in East London is seeking a dedicated Housing Support Team Leader to join their team in Bethnal Green, overseeing the support provided to vulnerable residents and ensuring the highest quality of service.


THE ROLE

As a Housing Support Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the service, managing staff, and supporting residents within a psychologically informed environment.

  1. Oversee the day-to-day operational support within the service and work closely with the Service Managers to drive service improvement
  2. Manage and support the Night Team and Enhanced Housing Officer, ensuring effective supervision, coaching, and training
  3. Ensure the service remains compliant with CQC regulations and contract requirements
  4. Support residents in stabilising their substance use and progressing toward independent living
  5. Respond to incidents and health & safety concerns using risk management procedures
  6. Build and maintain professional relationships with external stakeholders and community partners
  7. Assist in managing the service budget in line with financial policies

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar Housing Support or Team Leader role, with a strong background in working with vulnerable individuals.

  1. Experience managing or supervising staff within a housing or support setting
  2. Strong understanding of substance misuse, trauma, and complex needs
  3. Knowledge of CQC regulations and best practices in supported housing
  4. Ability to manage rotas, budgets, and staffing resources effectively
  5. Excellent communication and IT skills, with the ability to prepare reports and case studies

THE CONTRACT
  1. 40 Hours Per Week (Rota, Early / Late Shifts - 8-4/2-10 - and some weekends)
  2. 3 Month Contract
  3. The pay for the role is £17.88 per hour LTD company rate. The PAYE equivalent is £15.24 per hour, inclusive of holiday.
