We are currently recruiting for a Housing Support and Safeguarding Manager (Safeguarding).

Location: Bolton

Salary: Grade 6 (£42,540 - £46,740)

Basis: Full Time

Contracted Hours: 36 Hours

Package: Permanent

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday

Why is the role important?

The Housing Support and Safeguarding Manager (Safeguarding) leads the delivery of support services to vulnerable customers with complex needs.

What’s involved?

  1. Manage and develop Bolton at Home’s current range of sustainment and support services.
  2. Undertake a wide range of joint working initiatives with partners and agencies that support inclusive and sustainable communities and develop our relationships with such agencies and services.
  3. Effective case management for support and safeguarding services, ensuring service standards/legislation and compliance.
  4. Identify new initiatives and best practice service improvements to respond to the changing nature of support issues and needs for customers with complex needs.
  5. Contribute to strategic/policy developments supporting the safeguarding agenda and lead on their delivery striving for better outcomes and safeguarding vulnerable customers.
  6. Joint responsibility for safeguarding our customers and ensure we meet our obligations.
  7. Ensure a corporate safeguarding response.
  8. Ensure Equality, diversity & Inclusion is at the forefront of all decisions, inclusive language is used consistently, and we celebrate differences.
  9. Ensure all Health & Safety issues identified are reported and appropriate learning where required is shared.
