A local government authority in Bristol is seeking an enthusiastic individual passionate about housing and homelessness issues. The role focuses on improving communication between accommodation services and support teams, requiring strong IT, coordination, and training skills. Ideally, candidates should have experience with referral accommodation registers and be confident with data handling. Are you passionate about housing and homelessness issues? We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our friendly team who is interested in homelessness issues, has good IT, liaison and co-ordination skills, and ideally, experience in working with referral or placement accommodation registers.
The focus of this role is to help improve the interface and communication between commissioned temporary accommodation, support services for homeless households and the referral routes/operational aspects of our Housing Support Register.
Based within Housing Options, you will work closely with members of the Commissioning and Contracts team & the team that administers the Housing Support Register and other key stakeholders. You will also assist in working collectively to create more fluid, efficient and outcome focused processes to ensure that data inputting is accurate.
