An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Housing Support Team. We are looking for a highly motivated, caring individual who is interested in being a part of our team.

It is essential that you have or are willing to train towards achieving an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care or equivalent qualification. You should have an awareness of current developments in the provision of quality housing support to service users, have experience of working in a local authority, registered social landlord or housing support provider, and experience working with service users who have chaotic lifestyles and may have specific or multiple social problems, as well as liaising with a wide range of agencies.
You must have a working knowledge of housing-related welfare rights and benefit issues and of the Housing Scotland Act 2001 and 2010. Additionally, you should have effective IT, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to carry out needs assessments, plan care, and organise your own workload.
Experience of working with service users in their own homes is desirable.
