Job summary

Telford & Wrekin Council is seeking a Compliance Officer to join the Housing Standards team. You will investigate housing disrepair, inspect privately rented homes and HMOs, and work with landlords and tenants to secure improvements.

Enforcement action will be taken where necessary to safeguard residents and improve homes across the borough. This hands-on role combines housing knowledge with investigation, negotiation, and enforcement, offering meaningful impact and professional development

Qualifications

• Experience in housing standards enforcement.
• Ability to assess housing conditions and compliance.
