Stafford Borough & Cannock Chase District Councils are seeking an Environmental Health Practitioner or Housing Standards Officer to work within Regulatory Services. You will deliver proactive and reactive housing services, focusing on licensing, inspections, and enforcement to improve residents' health and wellbeing.

The role requires relevant Environmental Health qualifications or a diploma in Building/Surveying/Housing, plus membership where applicable.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in property inspection or related skills.
• Excellent communication with the public and professionals.
• Able to work independently and in a team to deliver services.

Responsabilités

• License housing in multiple occupation properties and manage inspections.
• Perform housing inspections and enforcement where needed.
• Provide housing assistance, advice, and support to residents.
