Job Title:Housing Solutions Officer

Hourly Rate:£15.48 PAYELocation:Office is based in Sheffield, S4, travel is required around Sheffield to tenants properties.

We are looking for a Housing Solutions Officer to join a dedicated team in Sheffield. This role focuses on supporting individuals and households in transition, helping them access stable housing and integrate into the local community. If you have strong communication skills and a passion for helping others, this is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct interviews and assess housing needs and potential homelessness cases within legal and policy guidelines.
  • Carry out home visits and attend other relevant locations such as hospitals.
  • Work to prevent homelessness and support timely transitions from institutional or supported accommodation.
  • Gather and process information from various sources to support housing applications.
  • Manage cases from initial application through to resolution, including reviews and follow-up.
  • Provide guidance on available housing options, support services, and related resources.
  • Make informed decisions within legal frameworks to achieve positive outcomes for clients.
  • Empower clients by offering practical solutions and support.

Skills & Qualifications
