Job Opportunity: Housing Solicitor

We are partnering with a leading Housing & Homelessness Charity based in Plymouth, recruiting for a Housing Solicitor to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

Position Details:

• Full-time role with a salary of £42,697 per annum
• Start date is subject to notice period

Key Duties:

• Providing legal support on housing matters, including ASB and homelessness
• Managing an active caseload in housing litigation and related legal areas, ensuring high standards of service and client care
• Handling litigation, judicial reviews, and systems change cases
• Undertaking advocacy, drafting, and negotiations within the role's scope with minimal supervision
• Challenging discriminatory housing practices

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years' PQE in housing litigation, including court representation for homeless individuals or those in housing need
• Experience in legal practice within the private or not-for-profit sector

Working Hours:

• 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday with flexible start and finish times
