Job summary

Lewisham Council is seeking a seasoned Housing Management professional to oversee Housing Management and Tenancy Fraud functions for residents, deputising for the Head of Housing and Communities. The role is based at Laurence House with a hybrid approach, requiring strong collaboration across teams and external partners.

The post holder will produce high-quality reports, keep policies up to date, maintain excellent customer care, and support diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in managing a front line housing management service.
• Ability to build relationships and work across teams and organisations to deliver outcomes.
• Excellent customer care and putting residents at the heart of the service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Housing Management and Tenancy Fraud functions for Lewisham residents.
• Produce high-quality reports and management information.
• Ensure policies and procedures are up to date and respond to complaints.
• Deputise for the Head of Housing and Communities.
