Job summary

South West Community Chaplaincy is seeking a Domestic Abuse Housing Team Leader in Telford to manage a small team of Housing Support Officers and a Dual Diagnosis Worker. The role focuses on consistent, tenant‑centred housing management and safeguarding best practice.

You will oversee the Domestic Abuse House within the housing service, coordinate referrals, and work with partners to sustain accommodation and help residents progress to independent living.

Responsibilities

• Lead and line manage a small team of Housing Support Workers and the Dual Diagnosis Worker.
• Ensure tenant-focused housing management, tenancy sustainment and rent related matters.
• Oversee the Domestic Abuse House within the housing service.
• Monitor practice, outcomes and provide reports to the Operations and Services Manager.
• Safeguard, refer, assess and allocate housing duties in line with procedures.
