Housing Reviews Officer - Ilford

Rate: £22.55ph PAYE

Type: Temporary role

Job Responsibilities:

1. Conduct high-quality, timely reviews of homelessness decisions, including negative decisions, suitability assessments, and discharge of duty under section 202 of the Housing Act 1996.
2. Perform review functions under the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.
3. Review housing register assessments and housing offers through choice-based lettings.
4. Manage cases involving section 204 appeals in the County Court and handle further appeals in higher courts, including judicial reviews and other housing court challenges.
