Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Housing Repairs Supervisor. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role, ensuring that voids and repairs are completed to a high standard, on time, and within budget. You’ll be leading front-line operatives, managing performance, and delivering results that matter. There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor health & safety compliance and champion a strong safety culture.
  • Lead and manage a team of multi-trade operatives and contractors, conducting 1:1s and toolbox talks.
  • Plan and manage material resources, stocks, and equipment to maximize operational efficiency, approve work variations.
  • Collaborate with schedulers and other supervisors to ensure service demands are met through efficient scheduling.
  • Conduct work inspections, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and customer-focused delivery.

This role may require flexible, out of hours and weekend working.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

Requirements

This post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
