Job description

Housing Repairs Co-ordinator needed in Islington, £17.38ph PAYE – Reference: RQ1504868

Knowledge and understanding of current issues relating to social housing and social housing repairs.

Responsibilities:
  1. Diagnose repairs accurately, raise orders on IT systems to contractors, and book appointments.
  2. Work in a contact centre answering high volumes of calls to ensure targets are met.
  3. Handle phone enquiries professionally, politely, and efficiently, ensuring high standards of customer care, including appropriate greetings and adapting communication methods to meet customer needs.
  4. Communicate effectively with other departments, agencies, and contractors.
  5. Process service requests accurately in line with policy, providing advice and information to customers, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and data protection laws.
  6. Proactively work with team members to improve customer service delivery, including conducting outbound calls as required.
  7. Manage customer complaints according to the complaints procedure and escalate cases to Team Leaders as appropriate.

This is a full-time role on a temporary basis.
