Overview

Housing Regulatory Compliance Officer

Join Us as a Housing Regulatory Compliance Officer. We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Housing Regulatory Compliance Officer to join our team and ensure our housing services meet all relevant legal, regulatory, and policy standards. This is a pivotal role that helps safeguard tenant rights, maintain property standards, and uphold our commitment to safe, fair, and compliant housing.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor housing legislation, regulations, and internal policies to ensure we're always aligned and inspection-ready.
  • Build and maintain a clear, accessible index of compliance evidence; ensuring everything stays current and relevant.
  • Liaise with other departments to create case studies, success stories and events that have had a positive impact on someone’s life to show where we meet standards.
  • Monitor themes from complaints to identify trends and collect evidence to show where there are learnings from complaints and changes to service delivery/policies/procedures.
  • Assist with ensuring teams and other stakeholders are regularly briefed and are kept informed of changes and developments relative to work areas.
  • Assist with the development of a series of briefings, training and awareness raising to ensure key stakeholders are fully aware of our responsibilities and obligations in relation to social housing regulation.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of UK housing law and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent analytical, ICT, communication, and report-writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
