Job description

We are looking for an individual who has a strong commitment to customer care, service delivery, best value and continuous improvement.

WHAT IS INVOLVED?
You will be managing all aspects of the delivery of housing development schemes, including the council house delivery programme. You will also be supporting the development of a future pipeline of sites including preparing funding bids and business cases.

WHAT WILL I NEED?

You will hold a degree level or equivalent qualification in housing / regeneration / planning or a related field. A project management qualification is desirable.

You should have experience in the management, co-ordination, monitoring and evaluation of complext projects. You should also have experience of working with public and private sector partners in a development context.

HYBRID WORKING
Durham County Council currently operates a hybrid working policy where a model of 2 days in the workplace and 3 days at home/remote will apply. This model is pro-rated for part time roles and arrangements are at managers discretion, alternatively you can work all of your contracted hours within the workplace if you prefer.
