To support the delivery of strategic planning, commissioning, and enabling for all aspects of the Council's housing, and to lead tenant engagement. Responsibilities include reviewing tenant satisfaction performance and implementing improvements. This encompasses the Housing Strategy, Growth Plans, Sub-Regional Plans, Private Sector Housing Policy and Strategy, Tenancy Strategy, and Allocations Policy.

An opportunity has arisen for a Policy Officer to be employed on a permanent contract, primarily working from home with occasional meetings across the borough. This is an exciting time to join our team as the Council responds to new regulatory frameworks and aims to provide high-quality services to tenants and leaseholders.
Working closely with the strategic lead for Council Housing, you will lead tenant engagement efforts, collaborate with the new Council Housing Management Board, and help ensure the Council's readiness for the social housing regulation inspection framework.
