About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Housing Outreach Worker at Advance. Advance is a specialist supported housing association on an exciting journey to deliver more services and develop more housing for people with learning difficulties, disabilities, and supporting people towards greater independent living.

You will be based at home but will sometimes be required to work from our Head office in Witney. This role will cover areas of Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Berkshire & Hampshire.

This area has approximately six hundred properties. You will work closely with the Regional Housing Officers to provide support to tenants and enable them to maintain their tenancies. We are looking for a communicative, well-organised individual to work across this wide geographical area.

This role involves making a daily difference by improving the lives and outcomes of our tenants.

The role of Housing Outreach Worker includes:

  • Providing effective tenancy and resident management in line with policies and procedures.
  • Dealing with anti-social behaviour, tenancy changes, and supporting tenants to maintain their tenancies.
  • Developing, building, and maintaining relationships with tenants and key stakeholders to ensure effective housing services.
  • Playing a key role in helping tenants sustain their tenancies.
  • Ensuring fire safety and water safety remedial actions are completed & assisting regional housing officers with annual visits.

About the candidate:

If you are proactive, motivated, and customer-focused, looking to make a real difference, we want to hear from you. You will also be:

  • Able to build excellent relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Highly competent with Microsoft Office.
  • Highly competent with Open Housing or similar databases.

Training and development will be provided to ensure you can undertake the role effectively.

As travel is required, a full, current driving license and access to a vehicle are essential.
