Job summary

4Recruitment Services Ltd in Slough is seeking a Triage/Housing Options Officer to assess homelessness cases under the Homelessness Reduction Act and Housing Act provisions. You will collect and manage case information with accuracy and confidentiality.

The role requires strong written and spoken English, good negotiation and interviewing skills, and a commitment to equality and inclusion. The position is a 6-month contract with a hybrid on-site/remote rota in SL1.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 and Housing Act parts VI & VII.
• Experience in assessing housing/homelessness approaches.
• Ability to complete forms and maintain data with confidentiality and accuracy.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Triage/Housing Options Officer - Slough

SL1 2SR - 3 days onsite, 2 days work from home

6 month initial contract with the view for extension

£18.64 per hour PAYE - (approx. £36,350.00 per annum)

Key Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge and practical experience of the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 and Housing Act 1996 Parts VI and VII, together with knowledge of theRenters'Rights Act, relevant codes of guidance, case law and legislative/service standards.
• Experience of assessing and responding to housing and homelessness approaches.
• Ability to accurately complete forms and maintain personal and statistical information, with a thorough understanding ofaccuracy, confidentiality and data handling.
• Good written and spoken English.
• A clear understanding ofequality, diversity and inclusion.
• Strongproblem-solving, negotiation and interviewing skills.
