Job summary

Hatched Recruitment Group seeks an experienced Housing Options Officer for a local authority team on a temporary basis. You will support people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, providing housing advice, assessing applications and helping applicants secure suitable accommodation.

You will work with partner agencies, landlords and support services to secure housing solutions, manage caseloads and ensure timely decisions while travel for home visits as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing options, homelessness prevention or a similar role.
• Knowledge of homelessness legislation and housing processes.
• Strong communication, organisational and case management skills.
• Ability to work with vulnerable applicants and manage a varied caseload.
• Fluent English.
• Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

• Ability to work sensitively with vulnerable applicants and manage a varied caseload.
• Education to A-level standard or equivalent knowledge to NVQ Level 4.
• Fluent English.
• Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
