Role: Housing Officer

Salary: £34,285

Type: Permanent, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Location: Staines

DBS Level: Enhanced

We’re not just looking for experience at A2Dominion; we’re looking for the right person. Someone who treats customers with respect, takes pride in their work, and rolls up their sleeves to get things done. At A2Dominion, our Retirement Living schemes are homes to people who value their independence but benefit from a little extra support. You’ll be the face of that support – building trust, solving problems, and making a real difference in people’s everyday lives.

What you’ll be doing:
  1. Taking ownership of lettings, voids, and tenancy management with care and attention.
  2. Working with local services to ensure residents receive the right support at the right time.
  3. Handling anti-social behaviour confidently and fairly, always acting with integrity.
  4. Keeping systems up to date and following through on actions – because detail matters.
  5. Listening to residents and responding quickly to issues – never walking past a problem.
  6. Supporting inspections, audits, and service charge processes – helping keep our schemes safe, well-run, and compliant.
  7. Representing A2Dominion at meetings, forums, and court when required.
What matters most:
  • You’re respectful, reliable, and act with empathy – especially when things are tough.
  • You’re solutions-focused and take ownership – no passing the buck.
  • You stay calm under pressure and bring a positive, can-do attitude.
  • You care about doing a job properly and making a difference – not just meeting KPIs.
You’ll also need:
  • Maths and English GCSEs (A*-C or equivalent).
  • Some experience in a housing or customer-facing role.
  • Confidence using IT systems and keeping accurate records.
