Job description

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Housing Manager to take on a leadership role in our fully-mutual Housing Co-operative in the South Hampstead conservation area, close to Finchley Road Tube Station. This is a re-advertisement, previous applicants need not apply

The Housing Manager will be based on-site, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, with occasional evening meetings. The role typically includes:

• Running the office and managing its small staff team
• Supporting member-tenants with housing needs by telephone, email and in person
• Providing advice to Management Committee on housing management matters andensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements
• Liaising with the Co-op’s chairs of working parties and sub-committees
• Providing excellent and organised administrative support with effective communication
• Compiling relevant documents for meetings and taking concise and accurate minutes
• Financial management of rents and budgets
• Administration of monthly Management Committee meetings and General Meetings
