Housing Management Officer, Manchester City Council

Pay rate: £17 per hour

Vitalis is recruiting for a Housing Management Officer to work in Manchester City Council.

This role involves working cooperatively with support workers, monitoring occupants’ compliance with their occupancy agreement, house rules, and court orders, and taking prompt and appropriate action in response to breaches.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage, monitor, and maximise rent, utilities charges, and miscellaneous charges, maintaining records and reporting as necessary.
  2. Monitor the processes of starting, operating, and ending tenancies, including the service and administration of Notices to Quit.
  3. Collaborate with occupants and support workers on support planning related to tenancy management.
  4. Monitor the quality and suitability of furniture, recommend improvements, and arrange cleaning, repair, replacement, or disposal when needed.
  5. Commit to continuous self-development and service improvement.
  6. Promote diversity through personal example and action, ensuring equal access and treatment in employment, service delivery, and communication.
