Housing Management Services at City of York Council have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Housing Management Officer for approximately 9 months.
As a Housing Management Officer, you will work as part of an area as well as a city-wide team in managing a patch of council housing and will make a positive difference to the lives of our tenants and the community.
The role involves all aspects of housing management, including tenancy sign ups and management, income collection - rent and arrears collection, anti-social behaviour management, homeless prevention, and financial inclusion. A key focus is on the provision of a responsive and sensitive service to our residents, to ensure they maintain successful tenancies. This will include the ability to work closely with residents, families, and a diverse range of partner agencies.
This is a frequently changing and fast-paced role.

Hybrid working arrangements are available for this role. Each role at CYC is different and your working arrangements will be determined based on the requirements of the role and in collaboration with you and your needs as part of the recruitment process. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team.
