Housing Management Coordinator - Birmingham (Permanent, Part-Time)

Join our team in Birmingham as a Housing Management Coordinator. This part-time role (22.5 hours per week, 3 days out of 5, Monday to Friday) offers a salary of £13.21 per hour (£25,838 per annum pro-rata) plus excellent benefits, including a Health Cash Plan.

About the Role

As our Housing and Property Coordinator, you will focus on tenancy support for customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well-maintained. Your responsibilities include providing housing management services, supporting tenants with their tenancy and rent accounts, and helping them move to secure, long-term accommodation.

Typical Daily Tasks
  1. Engaging with customers, particularly those with mental health challenges, to support their tenancies.
  2. Assisting customers with housing benefit claims and ensuring these are reflected in rent accounts.
  3. Issuing warning letters and notices, and attending court if necessary.
  4. Preparing vacant flats for new tenants to maximize occupancy.
  5. Ensuring health and safety standards and maintenance requirements are met.
