Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with NQ to 3+ years' PQE and a valid Practising Certificate.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a commitment to excellent client service.
• Proactive, adaptable and motivated to take on new challenges and grow professionally.
• Previous supervisory experience and ability to work to KPIs.
• Professional with a pro-active approach; client care skills and sensitive handling of vulnerable matters.
• Excellent networking and communication skills with ability to market the firm.
• Excellent analytical and organisational skills.
• Ability to use own initiative and sound judgment.
• Experience in housing-related work and advocacy is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to Department Director.
• Manage all aspects of Housing work and provide guidance to team members.
• Handle diverse caseloads including homelessness, disrepair, eviction and possession proceedings.
• Conduct advocacy where appropriate and attend clients, take instructions, and prepare cases.
• Maintain accurate time costing and ensure proper file management.
• Implement supervisor recommendations from monthly file reviews.
