Job summary

A legal recruitment agency is seeking a Housing Lawyer to join a local authority in Yorkshire. This permanent role offers the chance to provide legal support primarily in civil and housing litigation, hold a personal caseload, and undertake advocacy. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in civil or housing litigation and must be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or FCiLeX. Key Responsibilities of a Housing Lawyer:

  • Provide legal support primarily in respect of civil litigation, housing litigation, and other matters covered by the General Litigation team
  • Hold a personal caseload of contentious and non-contentious matters
  • Undertake advocacy in courts and tribunals as appropriate

Required Skills and Experience of a Housing Lawyer:

  • Prior experience in civil litigation, housing litigation, and/or general litigation matters
  • Must be a Solicitor, Barrister, or FCiLeX with advocacy rights
