Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a clean, valid Practising Certificate at the time of applying.
• Committed team player with ability to foster positive change and cross referrals.
• Previous supervisory experience and ability to work to KPIs.
• Pro-active professional with excellent client care for vulnerable housing matters.
• Strong networking and communication skills to market the company and generate new business.
• Excellent analytical and organisational abilities.
• Ability to use own initiative and sound judgement.
• Knowledge of publicly funded housing work and ability to handle private cases.
• Extensive experience handling all housing related work.
• Advantage: experience in own advocacy.
• Excellent IT skills with Microsoft Office and document management.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to Department Director.
• Manage all aspects of housing work and provide technical guidance as needed.
• Handle a diverse caseload of public and private housing matters.
• Represent clients in homelessness, disrepair, eviction, and ownership disputes.
• Conduct own advocacy where appropriate and attend clients with instructions.
• Maintain accurate time costing and file management; implement supervisor recommendations.
