Overview

Neway is currently looking for a Housing Coordinator to join our client based with Enfield Council. This role is starting on the 13th of October, working 35 hours a week, initially for a 3 month contract that is likely to be extended. Enfield Council is seeking a dedicated Housing Coordinator to join the Single Homeless Service team.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough homelessness assessments under relevant legislation and support vulnerable individuals into appropriate housing pathways.
  • Deliver high-quality housing advice and support to single homeless customers.
  • Complete assessments in line with Part 7 of the Housing Act 1996 and the Homelessness Act 2002.
  • Work empathetically with individuals facing complex challenges, including mental health issues, hospital discharge, or prison release.
Qualifications
  • Proven commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with homeless and vulnerable populations.
  • Sound knowledge of housing legislation and homelessness services.
  • Ability to work sensitively and effectively with individuals facing multiple barriers.
