Job Overview

Calling all night owls! If you prefer working through the night and are alert and energetic, this role is for you. We are seeking dedicated night workers to join our growing team at Home Group. You will support vulnerable customers, ensure the safety and security of our buildings, and foster good relations with the community.

Responsibilities

1. Monitor CCTV and patrol premises to ensure safety and security.
2. Be the first line of support for customers when other team members or support networks are unavailable.
3. Manage health and safety protocols, check fire doors, and ensure premises are secured.
4. Respond to suspicious activity, raise alarms, and engage emergency services if needed.
5. Assist with maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the premises.

Candidate Requirements

• Calm under pressure with excellent communication skills.
• Experience or interest in supporting vulnerable individuals.
• Sociable, attentive to detail, and able to spot behavioral changes.
• Confident in intervening sensitively when necessary.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Own a vehicle insured for business purposes; mileage paid.

Additional Information

Travel between sites in Cheltenham, working 3-4 nights per week between 8:00 pm and 8:00 am. Regular daytime training and team meetings are scheduled. An Enhanced DBS check is required, which we will pay for.
