Job Description: Housing Concierge (Night Shift) in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire

Join Home Group as a Housing Concierge working night shifts. This permanent, part-time role offers 34.5 hours per week, paying £12.60 per hour (£24,638 per annum pro-rata), with excellent benefits including a Health Cash Plan. We are seeking energetic, alert night workers who enjoy supporting vulnerable customers and maintaining secure, pleasant environments.

Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor safety and security of premises, including patrolling and checking fire doors.
  2. Respond to suspicious activities and raise alarms as necessary.
  3. Assist customers as the first point of support when other teams are unavailable.
  4. Ensure safety protocols are followed and buildings are secure.
  5. Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the premises.
Candidate Profile:
  • Calm under pressure with strong communication skills.
  • Experience or interest in supporting vulnerable individuals, possibly from public service backgrounds.
  • Sociable, attentive to detail, with good observational skills.
  • Confident in intervening sensitively and working independently or as part of a team.
  • Must have a vehicle insured for business use; mileage paid by the company.
Additional Details:

Work involves travel across Cheltenham, with a rolling rota of 3-4 nights per week between 8:00 pm and 8:00 am. The role requires an Enhanced DBS check, which the company will fund. Full training and team support provided. Due to sponsorship limitations, we cannot currently offer sponsorship to external candidates.
