South Essex Homes has recently added two new Housing Community Safety Officer posts to our Housing Community Safety Team. As a Community Safety Officer, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day provision of an excellent, customer-focused housing management service, with a specific focus on community safety and dealing with Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB). You will manage a caseload of ASB cases, taking steps to resolve issues at the earliest stage and, where necessary, escalating through legal or other appropriate actions. Additionally, you will undertake proactive community work and collaborate with partners and statutory agencies to tackle and prevent ASB and nuisance, helping residents feel safe in their neighborhoods and homes.
Applicants should have knowledge and experience of the social housing sector, particularly in community safety and ASB services. A willingness to learn and develop as a housing professional, along with a genuine desire to make a positive difference in residents' lives, is essential.
