A staffing agency is seeking a Housing Benefit Assessment Officer in Greater London. The role involves assessing HB claims and working with temporary accommodation. Housing Benefit Assessment Officer needed in Haringey

The rate is £21.06ph PAYE

This is a temporary role

Responsibilities
  • Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of all HB assessment and calculations including New Claims, change in circumstances, reviews and reconsiderations mainly with Temporary Accommodation.
  • Work with Atlas, VEP and HBAA. Must also have a good knowledge of iWorld and Information@work systems as well as Northgate NPS.
  • Work with new sign ups to both Temporary accommodation and general needs but mainly TA. Must have knowledge of relevant HB and UC legislation and guidance.
  • Position is a hybrid role with candidate working 1 day a week from the office. Must have good working knowledge of UC.
