Job description

Driver Hire Gatwick is seeking a Housing Assistant for one of our well-established clients in Crawley. The role involves coordinating and monitoring various processes.

Role Duties

  1. Undertake weekly and monthly direct debit extracts that comply with BACs regulations.
  2. Prepare payment profiles.
  3. Liaise with customers' banks/building societies.
  4. Carry out weekly rent debit control and property reconciliation procedures.
  5. Manage rent arrears collection when balances are low.

What you need

  • Good knowledge of basic IT systems.
  • Effective communication skills (over the phone and face-to-face).
  • A good standard of education in business studies.
  • At least 5 years of employment history.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Previous administrative experience.

Desirable skills (not essential)

  • Experience using housing systems.
  • Knowledge of local authority procedures.
