Overview

Pinnacle Group are looking to recruit a Housing Assistant to provide administrative and organisational support to the Senior Housing Manager and respond to a wide range of enquiries from residents and other customers by providing advice and information at the first point of contact through assessing customer needs in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner.

This is an office based role with the working hours of Monday - Friday 9AM - 5.30PM.

You will be joining our Affordable Housing team based in Canning Town. The Affordable Housing team operates a large mixed portfolio of new and existing Affordable homes nationwide comprising Affordable and Social Rent, Shared Ownership and Supported homes.

Responsibilities
  • Answer reception and telephone enquiries and respond to requests for information received by other means such as e-mail, social media, fax or voicemail.
  • Accurately collect and record customer information and, where necessary, complete timely referrals to either internal or external contacts as appropriate.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative and organisational support to the Senior Housing Manager and other members of the Housing Management team
  • Logging, acknowledging and ensuring responses are issued within the required timescales for correspondence, complaints and members enquiries.
  • Assisting the Housing Management Team with access arrangements, tenancy changes, arranging visits / inspections and maintaining up-to-date records.
Qualifications
  • Ability to work in a fast moving, pressurized, front line housing management environment dealing with complex issues and competing priorities
  • Ability to produce and present comprehensive professional reports clearly and concisely to a diverse audience
  • Ability to use initiative and make accurate and timely decisions whilst under pressure.
  • Ability to interpret and analyse data and performance information, identifying issues and resolution required.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels in both individual and group situations.
