A prominent Housing Association in Bristol is seeking a trustworthy Housing Officer for a full-time, fixed-term contract. We are currently partnering with a prominent Housing Association in Bristol, who are in pursuit of a trustworthy Housing Officer. This will be a full-time position based in Bristol.
Salary of £36,800 per annum, 6 months fixed term contract, 30 days of annual leave and the ideal candidate will have mid-high level of safeguarding, hold a DBS in last three years, and supporting vulnerable clients with complex needs.
Duties will include:
Assisting vulnerable clients with general housing management issues, such as ASB queries, tenancy management and income support
Establishing and maintaining relationships with individuals, maintaining regular contract and facilitating a co-produced planned programme of support
Assisting individuals to identify and access appropriate and move on accommodation
Assessing the support needs and risks of individuals and risk management procedures
Working in partnership with external agencies to facilitate the effective delivery of support and improve outcomes for those receiving our services
Monitoring and managing rent accounts, ensuring arrears and addressed in line with organisation procedures up to 200 properties
Delivering and budgeting advice to individuals to ensure income maximisation
Working collaboratively and closely with colleagues and partners to facilitate successful outcomes with regards to letting homes, managing rent arrears and supporting behavioural related issues
