Job Description

This role involves providing housing management and support to residents, ensuring rent accounts are monitored, collaborating with other departments, and supporting residents' progression and independence.

Hours of Work

20 or 40 hours per week, permanent; 40 hours on a shift rota including weekends.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage housing intake, explain policies, and ensure all paperwork is complete.
  2. Monitor rent accounts, take early intervention to prevent arrears, and enforce policies when necessary.
  3. Maximise occupancy and reduce voids proactively.
  4. Investigate and address anti-social behaviour.
  5. Conduct assessments and create person-centred action plans using a Psychologically Informed approach.
  6. Monitor residents' welfare, including health and substance misuse, and liaise with external agencies.
  7. Perform facilities and wellbeing checks.
  8. Work collaboratively with other departments and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed.
  9. Support residents' engagement in education, training, employment, and community activities.
