A leading company is seeking a Housing Advice & Homeless Prevention Officer for a hybrid position in Uxbridge. This full-time role involves working within the Housing Options Rough Sleepers Team, with responsibilities including assessments, case management, and legislative compliance, offering flexible office arrangements following an initial induction period.

The candidate will be part of the Housing Options Rough Sleepers Team, responsible for completing assessments, carrying out prevention and relief work, and managing a varied caseload. Knowledge of Part VII Housing Act 1996, Homelessness Reduction Act, and other relevant legislation is required, along with experience in homelessness inquiries, casework, and drafting s184 decision letters.
Candidates should demonstrate practical experience in delivering services within a pressurized Housing Options environment and managing multiple demands.
Flexible working arrangements are available. The candidate should expect to be office-based 50% of the time after completing an induction period, which typically takes two to four weeks depending on competency. Office hours are 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
