Job summary

Carlisle Station Hotel, Sure Collection By Best Western is seeking a Housekeeping Team Member to maintain clean, comfortable and welcoming guest spaces. You will clean guest rooms and public areas to high standards, ensuring each space is presented with care.

You will work calmly and efficiently within timeframes, report damages, follow hygiene and safety guidelines, and contribute to a positive team. Prior experience is welcome, but reliability and attention to detail are valued.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest bedrooms and public areas to company standards within allocated timeframes
• Follow agreed cleaning and presentation standards for all room categories
• Report any damages, maintenance issues or breakages promptly to ensure repairs can be carried out
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in linen rooms, cupboards and working areas
• Return all cleaning equipment to designated storerooms at the end of each shift
• Work safely and responsibly, following hygiene and health & safety guidelines
• Contribute positively to the team by working cooperatively and reliably

The Opportunity

As a Housekeeping Team Member, you will play an important role in creating a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests. Your work behind the scenes will directly shape how guests feel during their stay, helping them relax, feel cared for and truly at home.

You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public areas to agreed standards, ensuring each space is presented with care and attention to detail.
