Overview

Role: Housekeeping Supervisor
Location: The Christie Private Care, Manchester
Shifts: Shifts between 0730am and 2200pm, 5 days out of 7, Monday to Sunday

Hours: Full-time – 37.5 hours per week

Role summary

We’re looking for an ambitious Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team and help provide outstanding and high-level customer service to our patients. From managing a team, producing weekly rotas to cleaning private rooms and the public areas everyone enjoys, your team will play a big part in helping us make our hospitals warm and welcoming. We’ll look to you to uphold our high standards by ensuring all areas are clean, presentable, and safe for visitors and patients.

What you’ll do

You’ll help deliver a complete patient care experience, ensuring patient rooms are gleaming before admission and communal areas are clean and tidy for visitors. Everything you do will have a direct impact on patients and their families, reassuring them they’re in the best hands.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a special kind of person to join us. You’ll be professional and friendly—focused on providing 5* customer service with a can-do attitude. As well as this you’ll:

  • have experience supervising housekeeping teams within a similar environment
  • be great with people, able to communicate clearly with team members and customers, and have a good knowledge of IT systems
  • have a clear understanding of the importance of legislation and regulations—including hygiene, health and safety, uniform and others
  • be completely focused on customer service, with a can-do attitude
  • be comfortable working under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
  • be able to support the team fully with a hands-on approach to deliver exceptional service standards within a private health care environment
