Job summary

Welcome Break is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team at a London-area site. You will ensure clean, fresh rooms and public areas, oversee bed making and bathrooms, and report issues while maintaining safety standards.

This role offers up to £13.35 per hour plus £10 meal allowance, immediate start and overtime, staff discounts across Welcome Break sites, and career progression through our training programmes.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in hotels, housekeeping, or supervision
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to motivate a team

Responsibilities

• Lead housekeeping team to deliver clean, fresh rooms and public areas
• Oversee bed making, bathroom cleaning, and room checks
• Report and follow up on maintenance issues and damages
• Monitor stock of cleaning products and linen; ensure quality controls

You’ll lead your housekeeping team to ensure we deliver clean, fresh rooms to our guests, by maintaining high cleaning standards, providing spotless rooms and public areas. You’ll work alongside your team, helping with tasks like making beds and cleaning bathrooms when needed, reporting any damage, and ensuring everyone’s safety.

A Housekeeping Supervisor would ideally:

• Have some prior experience working in hotels, as a housekeeper or supervisor
• A good leader and motivator who can inspire others
• Fanatical about delivering exceptional customer service
• Ready to roll your sleeves up and lead by example
• Train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks according to company standards
• Check rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas, for cleanliness
• Report and follow up on maintenance issues and damages
• Monitor and replenish cleaning products stock, linen stock and linen quality stock
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas
