Job summary

WGC is a leading outsourced hotel services company hiring a Housekeeping Supervisor at Ibis Styles Haydock. The role reports to the Head Housekeeper and supports the day-to-day housekeeping operations to ensure high standards and efficiency.

The successful candidate will participate in training, mentoring and a development plan with opportunities for progression across the business. Annual training allowances and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping environment preferred.
• Ability to deliver consistent service in a challenging environment.
• Willingness to develop through training and progression.

Responsibilities

• Work to improve productivity and efficiency of room cleaning.
• Analyse guest data to plan resources and materials required to meet operational requirements.
• Maintain strong working relationship with GM, Hotel Team, HSK team and suppliers to ensure clear communication and implementation of best practice.
• Identify ways to improve Guest Satisfaction.
• Adhere to Health and Safety Policy, COSHH/Manual Handling; keep work areas neat and well organised.
• Recruit, train, manage and monitor team performance daily/weekly.
• Deliver and exceed financial targets; manage expenditure and payroll to support budgets.
• Participate in training to improve skills and performance.
• Solve routine challenges that occur on the job.

In the role of Supervisor, you will report to Head Housekeeper and be responsible for supporting your team in the day-to-day running of the housekeeping department.
