We are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at The Arkley care home in Barnet, Hertfordshire.

The Arkley care home is dedicated to delivering person-centred care, supporting independence and honouring choice to help our residents live their best lives. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will ensure that every corner of our care home sparkles and lead a dedicated team of housekeepers to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness within our home, working closely with the maintenance and management teams.
  • Lead by example, vacuuming, mopping floors, polishing, and ensuring the up-keep of all communal areas and resident bedrooms.
  • Supervise housekeeping and laundry assistants, managing staff rotas, training, and ensuring all housekeeping and domestic items are in stock or replenished accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a housekeeping role, completing work to high standards and taking pride in maintaining an organised environment.
  • Strong communication skills, able to confidently lead and motivate a team to deliver the best service.
  • Approachable and caring nature, enjoying getting to know each of our residents and working closely with other teams.
