Job description

We are looking for a couple of Housekeeping Supervisors to join our client's team in Cambridge. This role is a Part-Time, permanent position working 7am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday. This role offers a pro-rata salary of £29,000.

Main Duties:
  1. Organise and supervise a team of Housekeepers ensuring high cleaning standards.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and provide feedback to staff, addressing performance issues in liaison with the Housekeeper.
  3. Induct and train new staff on cleaning procedures, health & safety, and company regulations.
  4. Manage staff absences and arrange cover as needed, providing hands-on cleaning support when necessary.
  5. Report maintenance issues, untidy rooms or damage.
Successful Candidate:
  1. Experience in a supervisory role within hospitality or a similar environment.
  2. Excellent organisational, communication, and team leadership skills.
  3. Strong understanding of cleaning practices and attention to detail.
  4. Ability to work flexibly, independently, and as part of a team, using own initiative.
  5. Proficient in basic IT skills and able to maintain confidentiality.
