Job description

Temporary summer contract with potential to become part time permanent:

• Will include regular weekdays and weekends.
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred and attention to detail required.
• Hourly wage.

The role:
This is a special opportunity to work with a friendly and passionate team in an incredible venue where sustainability and luxury are equally important.

It is a busy and exciting hands-on hospitality position, working amongst our team of housekeepers, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness within our Shepherd’s huts, houses, and bell tents.

The role entails:

• Keeping all facilities in common areas clean and well maintained.
• Changing over accommodation between guests to a high standard in a timely manner.
• Keep all linen and cleaning supplies well-stocked and organized.

We are looking for someone most importantly, with previous housekeeping experience, as well as someone who has:

• The ability to manage your time efficiently and work well individually as well as being part of a wider team.
• The ability to lift and transport heavy loads regularly.
• A friendly and welcoming approach.
• A love of the outdoors and nature.
• An eye for detail and high standards.

Position Details: Temporary summer contact with potential to become permanent PT. Standard hours between 9am and 4pm subject to the rota.

Kingshill Farm, Elmley Nature Reserve, Sheerness, Kent ME12 3RW will be the place of work. Note if researching location using online maps, please note that some apps will add 30mins to the journey time to account for a footpath, it is suggested that the postcode ME12 3RN be used instead.

Due to the rural location own transport is advised.
