We currently have a permanent services supervisor vacancy at the ELGAR UNIT, WORCESTER
20 hours per week: (M-F)
MON-FRI - 4 HRS PER DAY 15:30-19:30
We have supportive and passionate teams, and you will receive full training to ensure you can succeed in this role.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a busy and varied environment, working alongside our clinical and other non-clinical colleagues to make a positive contribution to our patients and staff experience through the provision of a Housekeeping service.

We pride ourselves on maintaining cleaning standards to a star-rated audit process. You will work alongside clinical teams and infection control, housekeeping teams to ensure the cleanliness of the Trust estates in accordance with national standards and the Trust’s strategic cleaning plan.
You will be responsible for delivering a fully comprehensive and professional cleaning service to meet NHS standards of cleanliness and other housekeeping duties in accordance with schedules and procedures. The role includes working in local community hospitals, other inpatient settings, health centres, clinics, and administration areas. You will relay information that may impact other clinical/non-clinical services. The role offers variety as no two days are the same.
In return, you will receive full support, training, and guidance to undertake a range of cleaning duties, including general cleaning tasks (bathrooms, kitchens, wards, clinics, theatres, office areas, etc.) as well as specialised cleaning processes (machines). Some tasks are tailored to the needs of a particular service and around patient care.
