About the Role!

Joining the heart & soul of our Hotel team, our Housekeeping Department carries out allocated general cleaning duties, aiming and achieving high standards of cleanliness and presentation for the rooms and public areas of the Hotel. As well as making sure our rooms and public spaces are sparkling clean and comfortable, we also provide efficient, friendly and professional service in all our interactions to make our guests feel welcome and cared for.

Your duties as a Housekeeping - Public Area Attendant include :

  • Maintaining the cleanliness standards for the hotel's public areas including lobbies, restaurants, bathrooms, hallways, offices, function areas, and other common areas.
  • Thoroughly clean all sections of the public areas, such as bathrooms, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, polishing, tidying, and wiping down surfaces, all to ensure an exceptional first impression.
  • Re-stocking and maintaining housekeeping inventory levels including linen, cleaning supplies, tea, coffee, chemicals, bins, etc.
  • Providing friendly, approachable, and professional relationships with our guests.
  • Reporting maintenance issues promptly, showing your dedication to a flawless experience.

Qualifications

About You!

We're looking for our next housekeeping superstars to join our Housekeeping team!

To be successful in this role you will have :

  • Previous Housekeeping experience in a busy commercial environment or hotel is preferred.
  • High cleaning standards and attention to detail.
  • Strong motivation to learn, grow, and develop within a supportive hotel team.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team and individually within a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible and open to work a rotating roster, preferably 3-5 shifts per week.
  • Valid working rights in Australia - we are not able to provide sponsorship for these roles.
