Job description

The Peninsula London is delighted to announce that we are seeking a Housekeeping Porter to join our team. This role reports to the supervisor and coordinator and is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms, delivering linen, and fulfilling guest requests to ensure their comfort.

We offer a high level of service within a luxurious setting, with this position contributing to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

Key Accountabilities
  • Report directly to the Supervisor (Coordinator) and handle all guest and colleague requests related to cleanliness and room servicing.
  • Liaise with the minibar/amenity team to ensure timely servicing and replenishment of rooms.
  • Assist in delivering fresh linen to pantries and in the placement of extra beds and baby cots according to standards.
  • Assist with the removal of items from departure rooms and their safe storage.
  • Be trained in stripping checkout rooms for efficient turnaround during high occupancy.
General Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in housekeeping within a luxury hotel.
  • Passion for quality service and hygiene standards.
  • Excellent time management, organization skills, and adaptability.
  • Ability to work under pressure and flexible hours, including night shifts as required.
